Paid Translation Support – Children’s Book “Lele Dances the World” (Portuguese & Umbundu)

Toto’s Books is looking for language-specific contributors to translate the children’s story "Lele Dances the world" into Portuguese and Umbundu. The task involves child-friendly translation and light language adaptation. Cultural accuracy and readability for children are essential.

Rate: €100 per language, paid per completed translation.

Deadline: within 3 weeks of agreement.

Contributors will be fully credited. This role is suitable for students or community members with strong written language skills.

Paid Community Contributors Wanted- Audio Stories & Translation

Toto’s Books is looking for language-specific community contributors to support our children’s audio stories and translations in African and diasporic languages. Contributors will assist with audio story recording coordination, pronunciation accuracy, and translation or light editing of children’s stories.

We are currently looking for Swahili, Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, Amharic, Oromo, Somali, Zulu, Xhosa, Shona, Wolof, and Lingala speakers.

This is paid per contribution (€25–40 per completed task, agreed in advance). The role is suitable for students and community members with strong language and cultural knowledge.
